Easter was fun for Keagan (and for me--I baked a ton!). Keagan's first Easter Basket (he really didn't care.)
(This bunny is really a coconut cake. from scratch. aw yeah.)

I made these vanilla coconut cupcakes with lime coconut frosting.
We went to uncle Rene's to brunch it up. Delish!

Thursday night the family headed to Milwaukee where Andy was competing in the Great Lakes Regional Barista Competition (Andy placed in the top 6 out of 33!). Keagan had many adventures:
He saw Aunt Ber on Friday.
He slept before Andy presented.
He hugged daddy after daddy made his coffee.
And......he flirted with ladies (this is Amber).

It was actually nice enough to go for a walk today so the whole fam took a walk to Garcia's for some awesome, fattening Mexican food. I had a giant avocado burrito.

And Keagan wore his new snowsuit for the first time.

Saturday (March 7, 2008) Keagan, Andy and I went to brunch at Cafe Too (http://www.cafetoo.org/).



Cafe Too helps those who are disenfranchised gain skills. The food was very good (I had the Crab Cake Benedict). Yumsville.

Hello world!

This is my first post for the life of Keagan. I know he's already 5 months old, but better late than never, right? Anyway, from this point forward I will try and blog daily (or, at the very least, put up a photo) so everyone can check in as often as they'd like.
